Over the past year, Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) has completed a major transformation of its parking operations: moving to a fully ticketless parking management system combined with a modern webshop for online reservations and product management. In this workshop, we will take a closer look at the airport’s motivation for this step, the benefits for both passengers and operations, and the challenges that arise along such a journey.
Building on last year’s workshop discussions around terminal drop-off, online reservations, and ticketless parking, we will revisit key learnings and connect them to this year’s real-world implementation case. We are honored to co-host the session with Düsseldorf Airport and together, we will openly explore the practical experiences of going ticketless and invite participants to share their perspectives and expectations.
Using Designa’s connectivity map as a framework, we will discuss how modern Parking Access and Revenue Control Systems (PARCS) are evolving into omni-channel integration platforms – enabling airports to seamlessly connect parking to the wider customer journey. Topics will include online sales and upselling opportunities, smooth access and guidance, and the role of technology partners in shaping the future of airport landside operations.
Join us for an interactive session blending practical case insights with open discussion on where the industry is headed next.
